There is so much disdain for the Liberal goverment and locally for David Orazietti. Everyone I speak with is upset with this new tax. David is making a fool of himself by trying to tell us it is actually a beneficial tax. No tax is ever beneficial. I have observed over the past couple of years in particular, that David and other members of his party , are at the ready to hand out plenty of cash. Many of these handouts i have questioned. No wonder we are faced with a huge Ontario deficit. In tough time. goverments  have to say NO to every group that promises to support them IF  they get cash. POLITICAL BLACKMAIL HuhHuh??

Having said that I feel,as tax payers,we  being just too quiet on what the LIBERALS are doing. I hear very little from the other parties. There is very little in the way of taxpayer rallies etc.

SOMEHOW, WE must  oust the Liberals during the next election. Seniors who built this province are getting a bad deal everytime they turn around. Once a senior reaches 75 there should be no more taxes and health care for life FREE.

I agree with taxes but not to the extent that we can't live a decent life.  I also agree with the no tax after 75 years and a smaller percentage once you retire.  By the time one retires, if he/she has worked their entier life, their taxes should be very minimal.

Taxes are necessary so that we could have all that we do have in this country but having said that, people must also be given the opportunity to live a normal life without having to go to the soup kitchen to eat or to the second hand store to shop for their clothing.  For those of you who are making a decent wage, and are able to take a trip to Mexico or Cuba every year, don't begrudge the less fortunate the ability of buying healthy foods and being able to afford to buy their medications without having to cut down on their recommended dosages just to get through to the next month.
