This Saturday night, patrons of Arcadia coffee House will be treated to the electric pop sounds of Hexes and Ohs.

Hexes and Ohs consists of Heidi Donnelly on bass, electronics, vocals and Edmund Lam on guitar, electronics, vocals.

Hailing from Montreal where they were highschool sweethearts, they have been together for over a decade ,making their own music.

They released their first album “Goodbye Friend, Welcome Lover” in 2005 and are currently on tour across Canada promoting their new album "Bedroom Madness".

Their video for their release “H-H-Highschool” won 3 awards at the Cravesfest International Music Video Awards. The awards included: Best Overall Video,Best Production, Best Video in the Unsigned Electronic/Dance/World Category.

Lam told SooNews that his earliest musical influences included Nirvana and the Beatles.

He and Donelly have come a long way since then. Their music is a mix of electric pop and synthesizer effects with inspired intrumentals and vocals that are clear, soft, and explosive at the same time.

They've been all across Canada and will stop in the Sault on their way back to Montreal. They will have t-shirts and CD's of their music for sale so don't forget your wallet!
