Driver Escapes Injury In Moose Collision

At approximately 3:50 a.m. yesterday morning a car travelling northbound at the bottom of the mile hill on Highway 17 collided with a moose.

The driver was not injured.

The weather conditions were foggy at the time.

OPP would like to remind motorists to driver cautiously through areas identified as high risk by wildlife crossing signs.
